We remain committed to the safety of our staff and users, and our COVID-19 protocols have evolved with the pandemic to ensure on-site users can safely perform their experiments. At this time, the CLS has paused all COVID-19 access restrictions including our mask mandate. Masks are strongly preferred for all indoor spaces occupied by more than one person.

We kindly request that you stay home if you have COVID-like symptoms.

User Access Requirements

To enter the CLS, use the main lobby. Before coming on-site, please ensure:

  1. You are listed as a team member on an active project in the User Portal.
  2. You have completed all required facility access training via the CLS Training System.

Users are encouraged to check in at reception during business hours (Monday-Friday 8-4:30).

While at the CLS

  • Medical grade disposal masks are available to all individuals at the main entrance. Masks are recommended, but are no longer required on-site. However, there may be specific situations where you are requested to mask.
  • Access to certain areas of the facility, including the control room, is restricted. Please obey all signage while on-site.
