Student Travel Awards
The WIRMS Steering committee is pleased to announce that several $500.00 travel assistance awards are available to qualified students presenting at WIRMS 2009.
To apply for this award students must submit an abstract to WIRMS 2009 before the submission deadline (June 12 2009), along with a letter of support from their supervisor, submitted via email to brant.billinghurst@lightsource.ca.
The top submissions will be awarded $ 500.00 to help with the expense of attending the Workshop (in the form of a reduction in the registration fee). The number of awards available will depend on the amount of funding received.
We encourage all students planning to attend the conference to apply.
The results of the competition will be announced on July 5th 2009.
