Abstract Submission
The deadline for Abstract Submission is June 12, 2009.
Submission process
- Download the Microsoft Word Template here
- Carefully read the instructions
- Replace the instructions with your Abstract
- Only text within the area indicated by the template will appear in the abstract book.
- Do not modify the templates size fonts or margins.
- No figures or Images are allowed.
- A sample abstract can be downloaded here
- Save your abstract with your name (First Name Last Name) as the filename
- If you are proposing to give a Presentation, please attach your abstract to an e-mail, with the subject line "WIRMS 2009 Presentation abstract."
- If you are planning to present a Poster, please attach your abstract to an e-mail with the subject line “WIRMS 2009 Poster Abstract.”
- Send the e-mail to brant.billinghurst@lightsource.ca
Note: Due to the limited number of slots for presentations, you may be asked to present a poster rather than an Oral presentation.
PROCEEDINGS SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
You may also submit a 3-page paper for inclusion in The Proceedings of the 5th International Workshop on Infrared Microscopy and Spectroscopy with Accelerator Based Sources, to be published by the American Institute of Physics.
The submission deadline for articles to be included in the proceedings is August 13th 2009.

- Be sure to use the 6x9 letter template
- Be sure your article is less than 3-pages long.
- Create a PDF of your Article using the methods described.
- Check the final PDF, to ensure you are happy with the final product.
- E-Mail your article to Brant.Billinghurst@lightsource.ca
- Fill out the Transfer of Copyright Agreement and fax it with a cover sheet detailing “Attention: WIRMS Editor – ‘The Title of your Article’ – ‘Your Name’” to 1-306-657-3535
- If any material in your Article has already been published please obtain written permission from the copyright holder to reprint it. The following form may be used http://proceedings.aip.org/11_23_09_rights_permissions.
