The Canadian Light Source 15th Annual Users' Meeting was held in Saskatoon May 3-4, 2012. This meeting was a great opportunity to learn about the progress of the Canadian Light Source, presentations of recent synchrotron work and meeting fellow users.
Venue Details:
AUM Workshops, AUM meeting, Exhibitor Show and Poster Session were held on the University of Saskatchewan campus, in the Geology Atrium and W.P. Thompson Buildings. The AUM closing banquet was held in Marquis Hall on the University of Saskatchewan campus, just a short walk across the ‘bowl’ from the Geology Building. It was well attended and the food was terrific!

The Abstract Submission process is now CLOSED. Thank you for submitting your posters about your recent or planned synchrotron work. For those who have submitted, details will be emailed shortly outlining where and when you will set up your poster.
Exhibitor Show: Friday, May 4, 2012
15 exhibitors had booths set up in the Geology Atrium during the Annual Users’ Meeting. Thank you to all our Sponsors for their attendance and support.
Closing Banquet: Friday, May 4, 2012
The closing AUM banquet was held in Marquis Hall on the University of Saskatchewan campus following the Poster Session. Time: 6:15 cocktails, 6:45 dinner.
Travel Subsidy:
A travel subsidy will be available to attendees of the Annual Users’ Meeting presenting a poster at the AUM Poster Session.
The 2013 AUM is expected to be held on May 2-3, 2013. Venue is unknown at this time, but we’re hoping it will be back at the Geology/W.P. Thompson Buildings as it was for the past 2 years.
