Recent Progress in Studying Biomaterials with Synchrotron Radiation
Sunday, June 17, 2007 (half day workshop)
Description: The workshop is intended to give an overview on different important questions that are asked today concerning biomaterials. The presentations will address various synchrotron-based techniques such as X-ray microscopy and holography (J. Kirz/Advanced Light Source), X-ray absorption, X-ray emission and photoelectron spectroscopy of liquid systems (A. Nilson/Stanford Univ.) and EXAFS of low concentration systems (G. George/Univ. of Saskatchewan).
