Synchrotron Applications in Palaeontology and Archaeology
Friday, November 18, 2005 (Afternoon, 1/2 Day Workshop)

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an opportunity for current and potential users to discuss the application of synchrotron techniques to questions in palaeontology and archaeology. Speakers from the disciplines of materials science, earth science, archaeometry, archaeology and palaeontology will present papers on current synchrotron-based research, as well as investigations utilizing conventional methodologies that may benefit from synchrotron use. An opportunity to discuss feasibility questions will also be available.
