CLS Annual Users' Meeting
Poster Session
November 15, 2003
You are invited to submit posters about your recent or planned synchrotron work. If you are interested in submitting more than one poster you are welcome to do so, however, you must register each submission independently. Please register here.
The deadline for submission of your poster is October 31, 2003.
Length of the abstract should be 500 words, or less.
Poster presenters are requested to include a one page "lay summary" in their poster display.
Poster boards will be 4 feet high by 8 feet wide (or 1.22 metres by 2.4 metres).
CISR Poster Prize:
The Canadian Institute for Synchrotron Radiation (www.cisr.ca)
will again offer a prize for the best synchrotron related poster presented by a
graduate student or post-doctoral fellow. The prize will be $1000 to support travel
by the winner to attend a related conference of their choice in the coming year,
and present their work.
Last years' winner was Gianfranco Mazzanti, a Ph.D. student from Waterloo
for his presentation on "SR Studies on the crystallization of Edible
Fats Under Shear". The 2001 winner was Lisa Croll of McMaster. Lisa
Croll, a Ph.D. student form McMaster who is developing SR Spectromicroscopy.
