CLS makes extensive use of EPICS software
from other facilities. As part of the international EPICS collaboration,
CLS also makes EPICS software available to other institutions. These drivers
are used extensively in the CLS
Accelerator and Beamline Control System.
EPICS RS-232 Drivers
EPICS RS-232/485 drivers are based on the use on the use of a the generic
ASCII serial line driver.
