Feasibility Questions
Deadline for feasibility questions is April 15, 2005
We invite participants to submit a scientific question drawn from their own research for a feasibility study. A panel of experts will assess selected submissions to indicate how the proposed beamline facility could be used to answer the question. These feasibility questions will be presented during the workshop, and will also be incorporated into the beamline proposal.
Instructions
Feasibility questions should include a succinct description of the biological
question with enough background to demonstrate the relevance to non-specialists.
Include a description of the type of material (e.g. organism, tissue,
purified solution, etc.), available quantities, estimated concentrations
and relevant dimensions (if imaging). Feasibility questions should be submitted
as a Microsoft Word document of no more than one page of text (12 pt, 1.25” margins)
and should include title, investigator name, institution, funding source
(if applicable), e-mail, telephone and fax numbers. E-mail the feasibility
question to helen.nichol@usask.ca no
later than April 15, 2005.
Use and Disclaimer
In submitting a feasibility question, you agree to your submission and
any response being presented during the workshop and used in future beamline
facility proposals.
While we will endeavor to respond to as many submissions as possible, depending on the number of submissions it may not be feasible to reply to all.
