How do I get to the CLS?
Our address is 101 Perimeter Road, and we are located on the University

Where do I park?
Parking near the building is available. There are 6 metered parking
stalls in front and a pay parking lot west of the building on North Road
How long does the tour last?
Tours generally last about 45 minutes, depending on the size of the
group and the number of questions.
How much does the tour cost?
There is no charge for a tour
When should I get there?
Please arrive a few minutes before the start of your tour to allow time
to sign in. If any of the members of your party are more than 10 minutes
late, they will be escorted to join the group only if it is convenient
for staff to do so.
May I bring a camera?
You may take photographs inside the CLS
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Yes, although it is a walking tour and there are no rest stops
What if I want to see the CLS and there are no tours scheduled?
Our lobby is open Monday through Friday 8-4:30 and you may visit to
pick up informational brochures and view a model of the CLS.
Is the tour suitable for children?
We don’t have an age limitation for our tours, however we have
found that a basic understanding of electrons (approx grade 7) helps one
to get the most out of the tour
May I purchase CLS souvenir gift items?
We have souvenirs available for purchase from
the lobby. We accept cash or major credit cards.
Tour guidelines:
- For safety and security reasons all guest must sign
in and out of the building. To facilitate this, please provide a list
of the names and affiliation of all attendees prior to your visit,
via either email outreach@lightsource.ca or
fax 306-657-3535. Please allow a few minutes at the beginning of your
tour to sign in.Due to the same constraints we limit the number of
attendees to 15 per tour guide so please be accurate in your estimation
of the number of attendees.If any of the members of your party
are more than 10 minutes late, they will be escorted to join the group
only if it is convenient for staff to do so. We apologize for any inconvenience
this may cause.If you need to cancel your tour, please do so as early
as possible by contacting either Tracy Walker <657-3525> or the main

- Tours are limited to business hours (8am to 4:30pm, Monday
to Friday) and subject to availability of staff.
