Macromolecular Crystallography Program
Schedule (PDF)
Macromolecular Crystallography Presenters:
- Paul Adams - Acting Division Director, Physical Biosciences Division, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory
- Michel Fodje - Staff Scientist, CMCF2 (08B1-1), Canadian Light Source
- Nicholas Furnham - Research Fellow, European Bioinformatics Institute, Cambridge, United Kingdom
- Pawel Grochulski - Staff Scientist, CMCF(08ID-1), Canadian Light Source
- Wladek Minor - Professor of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics, University of Virginia
- Trevor Moraes - Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, University of Toronto
- Roland Pfoh- Post doctoral Fellow, University of Toronto
- Raj Rajashankar - Operations Team Leader, Northeastern Collaborative Access Team at the National Centre for Research Resources
- Randy Read- Professor, Structural Medicine, University of Cambridge
- Brian Shilton - Associate Professor, Biochemistry, University of Western Ontario
The macromolecular crystallography stream will cover all aspects of the structure solution process in crystallography, beginning with synchrotron data collection and processing, through phasing and refinement, and ending with structure validation. It is intended for those with biochemical and biological backgrounds. Participants in the macromolecular crystallography stream will alternate between explanations by guest lecturers and practical sessions in data collection and analysis for three days.
