Strategic Plan 2010-13

This strategic plan has been prepared by CLS senior management, and approved by the CLS Board of Directors. The plan is a living document, based on the vision, mission, and value statements approved by the CLSI Board on June 13, 2006, and developed with input from our employees, user groups and advisory committees. Similarly, we now invite all our stakeholders to contribute to the implementation of this plan and to provide us with input to continuously improve our performance. This input will be the basis for an annual update of milestones and objectives.

The plan was developed with reference to the funding available to the CLS but it also identifies additional initiatives that would greatly enhance facility operations. Identifying priorities in this manner enables us to be responsive to any necessary adjustments year-to-year, in response to actual fee-for-service revenues generated and other funding modifications that may be required from time to time.

We are committed to achieving the stated milestones, and we will provide annual progress reports to demonstrate our commitment to meeting these strategic goals. We want to express our sincere appreciation for the continued support of the Government of Canada and we are confident that the CLS will continue to be a flagship of Canada’s world leadership in research and innovation.
