Mr. Knight holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alberta.  He has been with Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since 1979.  Through various roles from Exploration Manager to Vice President Exploration to his current role as Senior Vice President, International and Corporate Development he is a key player in the development of CNRL.  From a start up company to one of the largest and most successful companies in North American; CNRL has a market cap of 50 billion dollars and is the second largest oil and gas producer in Canada.

Mr. Knight has also been involved with the Board of Governors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers ("CAPP") since 2003.  As the CNRL representative to CAPP, he plays a vital role to ensure that CAPP clearly defines the role of the oil industry to the Canadian economy.

Since 2000 he has been a Director or Officer in 15 different international companies mostly controlled by CNRL.  These roles are to ensure that business practices and integrity was maintained through all the facets of corporate activity.
